Russian Girls: Baring Thighs in Winter

In Russia, especially during the harsh winter when the temperature often drops well below zero, a unique scene can be witnessed on the streets - many Russian girls expose their thighs despite the cold.

Russia has a long and frigid winter, with the average temperature in winter around -20 °C in many areas, and it can even reach -60 °C in the coldest regions. However, Russian girls seem not to be deterred by the cold. They usually wear a thick, warm coat on the upper body, paired with a short skirt or dress, and long boots, leaving their thighs exposed.

This phenomenon may seem strange, but there are several reasons behind it. Firstly, Russian girls attach great importance to their appearance and believe that showing their legs can make them look more charming and stylish. Secondly, they are accustomed to the cold climate from an early age and have relatively strong cold tolerance. Moreover, many indoor places in Russia are well - heated, so they can endure the short - term cold when moving outdoors. This unique fashion statement of Russian girls in winter has become a special cultural landscape in the country.
