In 2020, AGEL won the world's largest solar bid worth $6 billion from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). This bid obligated AGEL to construct an 8000 - MW photovoltaic power plant, demonstrating the company's ambition and capabilities in the PV field.

 

The company's projects are not only limited to India. Adani is exploring opportunities to expand its PV footprint globally, aiming to contribute to the global transition towards clean energy. By leveraging its vast resources and technological expertise, Adani is set to play a crucial role in the development and growth of the international PV market, potentially becoming a major competitor in the global renewable energy landscape.
